In addition, some of them use baking soda as a cleaning product, as a replacement for toxic and harmful commercial cleaners.

ReplyDeleteIn deed it felt good but how often can I do this?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the ingredients I have in my cupboard 😘😘😘
ReplyDeleteBaking soda (which has a ph level of 9), is too alkaline to be used on the skin (ph level 4.5-5.5), and can cause irritation. Coconut oil is very high on the list of pore-clogging ingredients. Jojoba oil would be a better choice if you are wanting to use oil on your face.
ReplyDeleteI had serious acne for more than 30 years. When I started using coconut oil and tea tree oil (mixed) there was a dramatic change. During summer I combine aloe Vera gel with tea tree oil and a dab of coconut oil. My skin has improved 1000% and coconut oil is a natural exfoliate. Everyone with a similar problem that I have recommended this to has had the same results.

DeleteCOCONUT OIL doesn't Clog pores. People whose skin is acne-prone need to find the right oil for their skin. Any oil can cause clogging of the pores depending upon the person. The Myth that coconut oil cannot be used on the skin and will Clog pores is just that, a huge myth. BAKING SODA should not be used alone on the skin, but mixed with natural oils in the right ratio, baking soda will NOT harm the skin.
